In January 2020, around the time of my 55th birthday, I decided it was time to make a change to my workout regimen, which at that time was inconsistent and/or nonexistent. It was time for accountability and a new “push”. I found Alloy (now Aspire) through a Google search for women’s gyms and went in for a consultation. I liked the feel of the gym, placed myself into Coach Anthony’s care and never looked back. BEST DECISION EVER! I loved the feeling of doing something positive for my health and even loved the feeling of “good sore”. I was immediately hooked and knew I had found the right gym and right coach for me.
Six years later, I’m still here! Along the way, there have been a few non-workout related minor injuries and two surgeries, but after each set back, Coach Anthony helped me regain stamina and strength. Today, I’m stronger and in better health than I’ve ever been since my late 20s. I love the way I feel and the confidence I’ve gained in pushing myself to do more. Even on the days when I don’t feel my best or am not excited about going to the gym, I always feel better on my way out. There’s no better motivation to keep going than feeling positive about how you’re caring for yourself on the inside and out. Aspire helps me be a better version of me!
Coach Anthony and all the coaches at Aspire take great care to tailor workouts to specific needs and ability levels. They guide and encourage each person to find success. Part of the message I’ve gotten over the years too is about how to eat healthier, which has also made such a difference for me. The gym environment is fun and easy going, full of laughter and support from all the women and coaches. This gym is truly a gift, and I feel so fortunate to have found it. I’ll keep going until they drag me out kicking and screaming as an old, old lady.
